outsize (outsize.app) is run by Matej Matiaško (IČO 11716592, not a VAT payer), Sídl. E. Beneše 3916/21, 796 03 Prostějov, Czech Republic. By using the site, buying a spot, or playing the market, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use outsize. Questions: support@outsize.app.

Ad spots

A spot is a tile on the board linking to your product. You pay what you want, from $5. The more you pay, the bigger the tile.
A spot goes live as soon as the payment clears and stays up for 30 days. There are at most 100 spots; when the board is full you can't buy one until a spot frees up.
A Boost is an extra payment on a live spot. It adds to your amount so the tile grows. It does not extend the 30 days.
You get a private dashboard link by email to edit your tile and see its stats. Anyone with that link can edit the tile, so keep it private. You can get it again at /lost.
We don't guarantee any number of views, hovers or clicks, or a particular position or size on the board. Tile size depends on what everyone else paid.

Payments

Payments are handled by Polar, who acts as the merchant of record: Polar processes your card, charges any sales tax or VAT, and sends the receipt. Prices are in US dollars. Promo codes that make a spot free (100% off) give you a normal spot at its listed size, at no cost. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

What you can advertise

You are responsible for your tile: its name, tagline, ticker, color, promo code and the site it links to. You confirm you have the right to use them. No spam, scams, malware, phishing, illegal products or services, adult or NSFW content, hate, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.

We can hide or remove any tile that breaks these rules, at our discretion. If we remove a paid spot, you get a refund as described in the Refund Policy.

We show a preview image taken from your site's Open Graph tags. By listing your site you allow us to fetch and display that image on the board while your spot is live.

The market (play money)

The market is a game. You sign in, get $5,000 of play money, and trade “shares” in the tiles on the board.
Play money has no cash value. It can't be bought, sold, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for anything, and neither can shares or leaderboard positions. Nothing in the market is a real security, investment or financial product.
Prices are made up by a formula. Nothing on outsize is financial advice.
Your leaderboard name (a nickname you choose, or your first name and last initial) is public. Nicknames must be appropriate; we can change or remove them.
We can reset balances, fix bugs that affected trades, or change the rules of the game at any time.

Fair use

Don't try to fake views, hovers or clicks, break the site, get around rate limits, scrape it heavily, or get into parts you're not meant to (like other people's dashboards or the admin area). We can block access or remove spots or market accounts involved in abuse.

No warranty, limited liability

outsize is provided as is. We try to keep it up and accurate but can't promise it will always be available or error free, or that stats are exact. Links on the board go to sites we don't control; visit them at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to outsize is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. Spots already bought keep the terms they were bought under for price and duration. These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
